This photo makes me want to go back to when I was little and did ballet .

I loved making Jetes and to float trough the air.

I still make them now and again when no ones at home.

I always taught Ballet is such a gracefull dance.

And just beautifull moving art especially if its accompanied by classical music.

I think these words are put so beautifull together that it like a poem to me.
The woman that is being described here sounds to me like a femme fatale.

Femme fatale: The kind of woman who can destroy a man and uses her beauty/body as a weapon.

All though I personally dont think there are many woman like this walking around in real life. She does occasionally pop up in film (jennifer's body), art (Opera Carmen)and music as a main character.

A very creative music video is for example Sonne by Rammstein.

Which futures Snow white as a femme fatale.

Sonne means sun.

And I think its a very intelligent metaphor for a femme fatale. As a sun is a great beauty which allows life on earth and shines brightly but can also destroy with her fiery power and turn a green field into dust.

I like this painting so much. I don’t know why but I love it.

I think the painting is very poetic also the colour reminds me of another favorite of mine: The birth of venus by Botticelli. If you analyse it more closely its quite similar the pink, the blue and the suggested wind blowing trough the painting (especially flowers). But also the posture of both models.

I always strive to do good things but of course Im not perfect.
And here is a lesson I learned today and this text reminded me of it. I liked to share with you guys.

What makes you worry about a splinter in the eye of another, while not even noticing the bar in your own eye ? How can you say: 'Come, I will remove the splinter from your eye. "? With that beam in your eye wich prevents you from seeing anything.? How can you help another? Without taking care of the beam in your eye. Then at least when you remove yours you can see what you are doing. when your taking out the splinter out of the eye of someone else.
